There isn’t always the need for a polished commercial. Instead, lo-fi video can be a powerful tool for research and discovery. The following are examples of digital stories created and facilitated by Eric Pauls to do just that.

Active City YYC

A collective formed around the concept of an active economy dedicated to making Calgary the most livable city in the world. This video was used as a tool to help define the vision and direction of Active City as they move into 2023.

What is the Social Impact Lab?

United Way, the Government of Alberta, and J5 Design have launched a new initiative to help bolster rural non-profit organizations, but to do that they needed to first understand the needs of those they were going to serve. This process of making this video was designed to help those involved with the Social Impact Lab Alberta gain that understanding.
